New York City - Day 5: PS1 and Central Park

On Sunday we headed to P.S.1., an old pre-school in Queens that has been converted into an extension of the MOMA, and features more obscure contemporary artists. During the summer, P.S.1. also throws Saturday outdoor parties called "Warm Up," transforming the outdoor courtyard into a jam-packed dance party with DJs, food and drinks.

Queens definitely had the most distinctive street art...very colorful and cartoonish

New York City - Day 2: Nike Custom ID's

On day two, we stuck around Soho to go to the Nike Store where Thomas had an appointment to make custom Nike ID sneakers...

Spools of thread and shoelace colors to choose from for the Custom Nike ID's

Thomas chose colors that matched his custom-built fixed gear bike, hoping to pay tribute to both his personal biking style and the fixie culture that is very prominent in San Francisco.
